oh that is 100% hilarious because Stacey is using the "Obama is shutting down sales of some guns so I have to get them NOW or i'll never have them" speech...it doesn't work with me, I snap back at him "well you've lived without it for 34 years you can live the rest of your life without it!!" Unfortunetly, i've lost the money spent on a gun battle and one will be coming and will be his Christmas 08, Birthday 09, 7 yr. Anniversary and Christmas 09 gift!!! ha. I've decided too that no matter how much you talk about saving and being prepared when a man (or boy, same thing) has something he wants...means don't matter. There is always a way to get it.
Let me know if you come up with a solution!
Ha, ha, I'm in the same boat as you and Chantri, and my husband is using the same excuse, but truly believes it. Jake is going to test some out next week, wish me luck.
So funny!!! When that subject comes up that's what Chris says too. "I'll just go hunting..." BTW I LOVE the cute picture of your family on the right. SOOOO CUTE!!!!
Hilarious!!! I'll let you know if I ever hear of a solution to make our biggest "kids" grow up. I'm not really thinkin' it's going to happen though!
I love it, because that's Neil and his dad's attitude right now. The more, the better! I'll have to tell Neil about this one, so they can go shooting together or something... =)
Oh, I have you beat! Guess what I received for my anniversary...a handgun and pepper spray. I guess I can't complain if my man wants me safe huh?
Oh my gosh, that is funny. You're probably thinking food storage, savings, 72 hour kit. He's thinking an awesome gun. Isn't that just so manly!
